watchdog

boolean (configNetEthernetWatchdog)

Whether or not the Ethernet watchdog is enabled. If enabled, the watchdog will reset the Ethernet's PHY chip and/or reload the Ethernet driver if it appears that the Ethernet link was lost.

This should normally be set to true.
